The enemies of Islam are busy in attempting to target the Muslims by adopting various methods against Islam and its followers at all levels. They want the Muslims to go astray from the Sharait. Keeping this objective in mind they try to enact such laws at international levels which are totally against Islam. In order to get these rules implemented U.N.O. is being used as an agency. It is the blessing of Allah, The Almighty that the Ulema of Islam are obstacs in their ways with this role of Ulema, the enemies of Islam are perturbed.
These thoughts were expressed by the Islamic scholars and thinkers in a meeting held at Madina Education Centre. Maulana Khaleel Ahmed of Jamia Nizamia highlighted in detail various facets of Islamic Sharait. He told that in every century functioned in a responsible way and crushed the voices raised against Islam and interference in Islamic Sharait. It is the duty of every Muslim to curb such conspiracies.
Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim Quraishi, President All India Majlis-e-Tameer-e-Millat in his thought provoking speech invited the attention of the Muslims towards exploiting UNO for fulfilling the evil designs of the enemies of Islam. UNO is insisting all the countries to implement anti-Islamic laws. The latest example is that of rape which is gaining support. It is a sin. It is regrettable that no Islamic country opposed this law. It is imperative for the Muslim ulema to give a serious thought to it and explain its disadvantages.
Mufti Mohammed Qasim Siddiqui Tasqueer’s four books were released in this meeting. He has collected the selected fatwas (decrees) of Mufti Mohammed Azeemuddin and published them in the form of a book.
Maulana Khaleel Ahmed also inaugurated the website of Islamic decrees “fatwainfo.com” Mr. Shujat Ali Dy. Director, Doordorshan said that it is not only the responsibility of the ulema to protect Islamic Shariat. We are all responsible for it.
Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS advised the Muslims to be vigilant about the communal minded media. The media persons approach the Muftis with different questions. Mr. Jaleel emphatically told that the Muslims of today are being projected as strange creatures. He appealed to the Islamic scholars to make use of the print and electronic media and show the people what a Muslim is and what are his attributes.
Maulana Qasim Siddiqui applauded the efforts of blood donations on the occasion of the birthday celebrations of Prophet Mohammed (SAWS). He pointed out that with such programmes, non-Muslims get a message in a good way. Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Shareef, Professor of Arabic, Osmania University told that the source of Islamic Shariat is the Quran. He appealed to the Muslims and the Muslim organizations not only to present Quran to non-Muslims but give them its translations as well so that they could understand the true meaning of the Quran.
In this way, many misunderstandings would be clarified Prof. Shahid Ali Abbasi told that it is the duty of every Muslim to get guidance from ulema. Muslims can’t think of anything without Islamic Shariat. It is the Shariat which provides guidance to us at every stage.
