Inter Supplementary Exams: 39 booked for malpractice

As many as 39 students have been booked for malpractice during the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations held across the State on Saturday.

While 27 cases of malpractice were booked in the morning session during Mathematics Paper-IB, Zoology Paper-I and History Paper-I, 12 cases were booked in the afternoon session during inter second year exams.

One case of impersonation has also been registered at Sri Chaitanya Junior College at ECIL in Ranga Reddy district.

The Board of Intermediate Education has sent Observers to East Godavari, Prakasam, Nalgonda, Warangal, Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy Districts.

Further, of 3,43,290 candidates in General Category and 15,307 in Vocational, as many as 25,176 or 7.02 per cent candidates abstained from the exams in the morning session. Similarly, of 87,411 General and 5,109 Vocational candidates, as many as 7,245 or 7.83 per cent candidates abstained for the Paper-II exams. (INN)
