Hyderabad, October 22: An Intermediate First Year student from Anantpaur, pursuing his education in a corporate college at Kukatpally, has been missing since two days.
Though the student landed at Kukatpally, he did not reach his college, police said. The missing boy, 17-year-old P Sai Charan, is pursuing his First Year MPC in Chaitanya Junior College at Ameenpur.
He studies in the IIT campus of the college.
Sai Charan, a native of Anantapur went home on October 16.
“Sai Charan was supposed to report to the college authorities by the night of October 19 as classes were scheduled to start from the next day,” Kukatpally police said.
After spending Diwali and the next day with his family, Sai Charan boarded a private bus from Kukatpally on the morning of October 19. He landed at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University by evening but did not reach the college at Ameenpur.
“There is another student of the same name (Sai Charan) studying in the college.
College authorities mistakenly told Sai’s father Muralidhar that his son had reached the college but it was not so,” police said. Muralidhar rushed to the city on Wednesday and lodged a complaint with the police.
