Love affair between a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy had a tragic ending where the girl consumed poison and committed suicide. According to details 21-year-old Muslim girl loved a Hindu boy. Boy’s family was persuading the girl to perform puja in order to perform marriage with the boy. In her suicide note the girl revealed that the boy’s family members wanted to get a treasure. The incident occurred at Kuttagudam, Hayath Nagar.
Girl’s parents were angry over her love affair with non-Muslim boy but since the boy’s parents had agreed, negotiations were underway for the marriage. Boy’s family members were allegedly forcing the girl to perform Puja. She was lured by saying that they won’t take dowry and instead give a whopping amount for marrying with their son. The girl was made believe that if she would take part in the Puja it would be easy to get the treasure. Initially the girl took part in the Puja but later she refused to do so, on which she was threatened.
Fed up with the constant exploitation and threats the girl committed suicide on Thursday. Police has registered a case. Inspector Hayat Nagar Mr. B Venkateshwarulu told that boy’s family is absconding and manhunt has been launched.
