Batala, December 21: Agitated with repeated attempts of their son-in-law, to get the custody of his son, whom their daughter had married against wishes about 10 years back, members of the girl family allegedly murdered the son-in-law, when he visited the school of his son, here at Fatehgarh Churrian today.
Ishwak Yousaf, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir fell in love with Rupinder Kaur resident of Fatehgarh Churrian, when both of them were undergoing the training of commercial pilots at Rajasansi in 1999, officials said here.
Seeing tough resistance to their inter-caste marriage by the girl’s family, the couple solemnised their marriage after Rupinder Kaur accepted Islam and changed her name to Rusbat and started living at Pune and also give birth to a son in 2003.
