Hyderabad, April 22: Results of Intermediate first year examinations conducted during the month of March have been released on Thursday.
In all, 851774 students had appeared for the examination, out of which 4,44,747 passed the exam, thus 52.21 per cent of the students cleared their examinations.
Talking to newspaper correspondents here Minister of Education Partha Sarthi said that intermediate first year results have been announced and told that while 56.61 per cent girls passed their examinations, about 48.48 per cent boys cleared their papers in the general course.
Krishna district has stood in first place with 70 per cent pass percentage while Vishakhapatnam stood second with 63 per cent and Nalgonda in last place with 34 per cent in general course.
Regarding the vocational courses, 77,846 candidates had written their examinations and out of this, 31,117 cleared their papers. Thus vocational courses saw about 45.85 per cent of the girls students clearing their papers and about 34.91 per cent boys passing their vocational courses.
The memos of the successful students will be sent to their respective principals till April 25. If errors of any kind are found in memo of marks then the applications can be sent to Board of Intermediate before May 21 through their respective principals.
