Inter 1st year optional papers to be written in the same language

Board of Intermediate Education in a press note clarified that the students of Intermediate 1st year have to write Sanskrit, Telugu, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, French, Marathi, Odiya and Kannada have to write their examinations in the same language. The students of Sanskrit have to write their answer in Devnagri Script whereas the students of Arabic have to write in Arabic script only. On the representation of people, students and parents, the board has decided to permit the students to write question numbers 1, 2 and 3 in their respective scripts and 15% of the answers can be written in their mother tongue
