Instructions for Household Survey

Principal Secretary of Rural Development, Mr. Raymond Peter issued detailed instructions addressing the district collectors through video conferencing yesterday about the household survey to be conducted on 19th August. He instructed the collectors to make all arrangements for the survey. The required staff and vehicles should be made available. The report containing 6 pages should be prepared. A booklet containing 25 samples should be given to survey workers. The requisition for the booklet should be intimated. Survey workers should enlist the bank accounts and other details of the income of the persons. These records should be preserved in Mandal offices. “Our village – Our plan” program is being linked online from 8th August. Mr. Ronald Ross, Collector of Nizambad district told that the district contains 36 mandals and 4 Municipalities. It has 6.25 lakh households. There are 718 gram panchayats in the district. A contingent of 14000 personnel is available for survey work but the district needs 10000 more workers. A plan has been worked out to involve the workers of Anganwadi etc. 400 routes have been identified for survey works. 450 buses including 150 mini buses will be utilized for the survey work. Present on the occasion of video conference were Mr. Raja Ram, CEO ZP and other officials.
