(Siasat News)By extending the greetings on the occasion of Eid, the city of Hyderabad does not become prosperous.
GHMC can offer Eid greetings to the citizens of Hyderabad but the culture of offering greetings has restricted the GHMC from providing the basic civic amenities to the citizen of Hyderabad.
Many roads of Hyderabad have pits, which hinder the traffic. If these pits were covered by the GHMC, the citizen of Hyderabad would congratulate the Municipal authorities. The condition of GHMC is so bad that it could only be cleaned through a broomstick.
With the remarks made by the citizen of Hyderabad on seeing these hoardings of Eid greetings, GHMC should open its eyes. Pointing at a hoarding, one person remarked that it is untimely and it is useless till the roads are repaired. These hoardings could be read only when there is no pit below them, otherwise it becomes necessary to call for 108 Ambulance service.
The citizens of Hyderabad advised the officials of GHMC that instead of touring by sitting in air-conditioned cars, they should take rounds on bicycles, only then they would be able to assess the inconvenience caused to public. If the Mayor sees the bad condition of the roads, he would also clean the roads taking a broom in his hands like Mr. Chandrababau Naidu. The hearts of people can be governed only by maintaining cleanliness.
