From next week the GHMC is going to install the LED street light in both twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The GHMC has decided to install the LED street lights in both cities which increase the beauty of cities as well as save the energy.
Last month the GHMC has planned to extend the plan for installation of LED Street lights after the successful installation of street lights in the five important areas of city at Begum pet, CM Camp Office etc, and the successful installation of street lights.
The GHMC has planned a map for the installation of LED Street light. This step of GHMC can help to overcome the challenge of power crisis faced by Govt.
The sources told that the GHMC planning to connect these LED street light from Solar power which can save almost 1 crore annually.
According to GHMC after the Approval from the standing Committee the street lights will going to change.
After the notice from the Telangana Govt to take initial steps for power crisis ,the GHMC has taken the step forward to save energy and GHMC has also planned to increase the beauty of city.
