Rajahmundry, May 06: An eight-year-old girl lost her life at the Government General Hospital (GGH) here due to lack of anti-rabies vaccine last night.
V Anusha (8) had been bitten by a street dog in March this year near her residence. Her parents took her to the GGH, but doctors allegedly told them there was no Anti-Rabies Vaccine.
According to the parents, doctors asked them to come later, as stock was to arrive from Hyderabad in April. She died last night, parents said.
