Ghaziabad, April 21:An inquiry has been orderedinto the alleged reluctance of policemen to file a case after a passenger bus was looted two days ago.
Ghaziabad SSP Raghubir Lal said that strict action will be taken against the those found guilty.
An Uttar Pradesh roadways bus, going from Delhi to Haldwani, was allegedly robbed at gunpoint on its way near Hapur on Monday night. After the incident, driver Ramesh drove the bus in to the Babugarh police station to lodge a complaint.
Passengers claimed that the policemen on duty were reluctant to register a case of loot. However, after they were pressurised they registered the case but under a minor offence.
Conductor reported the matter of loot to his roadways officials.
