The Two day National conference on ‘Innovations and Advancements in Computing’ (IAC-2014) organized by Department of Information Technology, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus concluded on 29th March 2014. The valedictory function presided by chief guest Dr. Vilas M. Thakre and guest of Honour Suryakanth V.Gangashetty, IIIT Hyderabad.
The conference spread over five technical sessions chaired by Dr. Swarna Bhai, Scientist, DRDO, Hyderabad, Dr. Salman Abdul Moiz, Central University, Hyderabad, Dr P. Sri Hari, GITAM University and Dr.Swathi S.Sarekhar, Amaravathi University. About 77 out of 128 received papers were presented by delegates from various institutions.
This conference had participants from different states of India such as Goa, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Orissa etc. Participants from other universities and engineering colleges presented feedback about conference as highly productive. The invited talks by experts were highly appreciated.
