Senior TRS leader and former MP B Vinod Kumar on Monday accused the State and Central Governments’of showing step-motherly treatment towards the Telangana statehood issue.
Talking to media persons, Vinod Kumar came down heavily on the state government for not increasing the medical seats in the colleges from Telangana region.
Alleging that the government showing partisan attitude towards Telangana region by increasing additional seats in medical colleges in the Seemandra region, he demanded the Seemandra channels for a public discussion on this issue. He asked as to why the government did not recommend for increasing seats with the Medical Council of India in
Osmania, Gandhi and Kakatiya Medical Colleges in the Telangana region. “This clearly shows that government is showing discriminatory attitude towards Telangana region,” he pointed out. (INN)
