Mohammed Muzaffer Ali Khan incharge Malakpet constituency (TDP), in a statement told that consumers have been hit hard by the steep hike in the electricity bills of the month of November. This enhancement has been made on the basis of power consumed in the month of May and the amount is entered separately in the monthly bill.
When asked it has been told that the power supplied during the month of May was supplied by purchasing additional power hence the extra amount is being charged in the bill of November.
Congress government is taking the consumers for a ride and extorting money from the consumers who are already hit by rising prices.
