Infant State marching towards Bangaru Telangana: Speaker

Assembly Speaker S Madhusudana Chary has said the Telangana people achieved separate State for the sake of rights and self-respect. The state was moving with the aim of transforming it as Bangaru Telangana, he said.

Participating in Telangana state formation day celebrations here at Assembly premises on Saturday, Madhusudhana Chary hoisted the national flag. In Vikarabad, Transport Minister Mahender Reddy hoisted the national flag. Collector Umar Jaleel, MLAs Sanjeeva Rao, Yadaiah, MLC P Narender Reddy, SP Annapurna also participated.

In Komurambheem Asifabad, Legislative Council chairman Swamy Goud hoisted national flag. He was also paid tributes to martyrs statue. In Nalgonda, Legislative Council deputy chairman Nethi Vidyasagar Rao, ZP chairman Balu Naik and others participated. In Khammam, the Minister Thummala Nageshwara Rao hoisted the national flag. MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, MLA Ajay Kumar, MLC Balasani Laxminarayana, ZP Chairperson G Kavitha participated. In Mahabubnagar district, MLA Chittem Rammohan Reddy participated in the celebrations. In YSRCP office, YSRCP Telangana state president Gattu Srikanth Reddy hoisted the national flag. (NSS)
