Industries in T will go to AP, fears Gutha

Congress senior leader and Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has expressed fears that the industries located in Telangana State might go to Andhra Pradesh in the event of the Centre granting ‘Special Status’ to it.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Gutha said the residuary Andhra Pradesh was much better than Telangana State except the Capital City. He said he has addressed a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.

Responding to Osmania University lands issue, Gutha said it was not proper for the TRS government to take over the lands of Osmania University from where Telangana Movement started. He described the Chief Minister KCR’s idea as “objectionable and atrocious”. He also dared the Chief Minister to take back lands of cine studios for construction of houses for poor. (NSS)
