Hyderabad: Endowment & Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy today heaped praises on Chief Minster K Chandrasekhar Rao for launching the world’s biggest multi-stage Kaleshwaram project. At the project site, Indrakaran Reddy participated in the ritual of performing pujas by KCR and his wife Shobha and other ministers along with guests, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Governor ESL Narasimhan and AP CM Jagan Reddy and other ministers.
Talking to mediapersons at the project site, Indrakaran said the credit goes to the Chief Minister for speedy completion of the project which is lifeline of the Telangana districts. “Our previous Adilabad district will also get the waters for irrigation as part of the big project launched”, he said. The SRSP will be restrengthened to increase to a great extend the irrigation of the parched lands in the districts the minister said. The minister appreciated the workers and officials involved in the project.
At Lakshmapur, Jagadish Reddy started 8th pumphouse in Choppadandi mandal as part of the Kaleshwaram launch simultaneously. He said Kaleshwaram project is a lifeline for Telangana as it involves huge workforce and funds.
