Indo-Pak match paralyzes public and political activities

Hyderabad, March 31: The world cup semi-final between India and Pakistan affected the normal life in the city on one side and paralyzed the public and political activities on the other.

Cricket fever gripped the city as the traditional rival countries came face to face in semi-final. Though the match started in the afternoon yet the affect could be seen since the morning. No activities were carried out by the political parties and their offices wore a deserted look. Similar situation was also witnessed in government offices and in the secretariat too. The strength of state ministers was low as most of them preferred to stay at home.

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy who himself had been a cricket player was busy watching cricket in the afternoon. It has been told that he watched the match along with some close ministers.
