Hyderabad: The Indo-Arab League Chairman, Syed Viqaruddin on Wednesday announced that the League will offer land for establishing Palestine’s consulate office in the city free of cost. He told this while addressing a press conference here at Media Plus auditorium, Gunfoundry.
Mr. Viqaruddin further announced that ‘Solidarity day for Palestine’ will be organised on October, 29, at Taj Krishna Hotel. Palestinian Supreme Court Judge and advisor for Palestinian president will attend as chief guest.
Delegates from different Arab countries, including Sudan, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt and Saudi Arabia are expected to visit.
Mr. Viqaruddin informed that Indo-Arab League Cultural centre will be established at Banjara Hills with the cost of Rs. 60 Cr. He added that the central and state governments want to establish an Indo-Arab university in either the country or the state, so that Arabs and Indians can study together.
