Hyderabad: Anurag Sharma, DGP of Telangana State told that Muslims have a feeling that they have been marginalize since social and economic benefits are not reaching them. As a result of indiscriminate arrests of Muslim youths is leading to radicalization. Mr. Sharma was presenting his views in the conference of DGPs held at Bhuj(Gujarat) which ended on Sunday last. This annual meet was organized by Intelligence Bureau. In the meeting 10 reports were presented on various aspects of internal security. One such report was on radicalization which was presented by DGP of Telangana State, Mr. Anurag Sharma. This was the key report in the wake of the threats given by Islamic State.
According to the sources Mr. Sharma said that a feeling of alienation has been impregnated among the Muslims since they are not getting social and economic benefits. He gave the details how civic amenities were not provided in Muslim concentration areas. All these reasons led the Muslim community toward radicalization. Citing the examples of indiscriminate arrests of Muslim youths after the bomb blast in Makkah Masjid in 2007, Mr. Sharma said that these youths ultimately declared innocent by the courts. In fact, these blasts were engineered by Hindu outfits.
