India’s zero tolerance on terrorism forced Pak to share intelligence: Govt

Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh on Monday said India’s zero tolerance towards terrorism has forced other countries to adopt the same and share intelligence details.
“India’s policy towards terrorism has always been crystal clear and the zero tolerance for terrorism has forced other countries to adopt the same and that is why this happened because terrorism has no religion and it poses a threat to entire world,” Singh said.

When asked to respond on the security alerts in the country, Singh said the security forces and the Home Ministry is equally capable of overcoming any kind of challenge.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a high-level meeting on internal security following inputs received from Pakistan on terrorists possibly sneaking into Indian territory to carry out attacks. At least four National Security Guard (NSG) teams have been deployed in Gujarat. Three teams have been sent to Ahmedabad and one in Somnath where the devotees are gathering for Shivratri celebrations.
