Chennai, March 17: The Indian squad, barring skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virender Sehwag, went through a two-hour training session at the IIT-Chemplast ground here Thursday in preparation for their game against the West Indies Sunday.
The players went through the usual routine of batting and fielding, watched by a sizeable crowd and with coach Gary Kirsten, physio Peter Upton and trainer Ramji Srinivasan in attendance.
Of course, the media was off-limits as far as interacting with the players was concerned.
India are second in Group B with seven points.
