TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has said that no other country in the world has the power of youth which India has.
Some students from Tenali in Guntur district met Naidu in the NTR Trust Bhavan under the leadership of Venkata Lakshmi Narayana and Vamsi Krishna on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the students said that unemployment, corruption and rowdyism had increased in the State during the past eight years. They said that the administration was hard to find.
The students complained that those with even higher qualifications like B.Tech and M.Tech qualifications were not getting jobs and were being forced to migrate to other States. They said that employment opportunities were better during the TDP rule.
Addressing the students, Chandrababu Naidu said that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was simply doing magic with words by spelling out imaginary schemes like Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu and Rajiv Udyoga Sri. He charged that the CM had no real interest in the future of the students. He said that on the other hand, the TDP government had reposed confidence on the power of the youth and had prepared several programs to harness their energies and skills.
He said that TDP was in the forefront in encouraging the youth ever since its inception.
The TDP president said that there was need for youth to enter politics, if there should be an administration with some values. He said that TDP was encouraging the youth to enter politics and serve the people.
He also reminded that his government had brought in Hitec City, National Academy of Constructions, IIIT and other knowledge centers to prepare the youth to be fit for the changes occurring in the technical sector according to the international standards.
He said that the Congress government had not taken up any programs to provide employment to the youth. He implored upon the youth that it was their duty to save the country from the corrupt.
He also explained the efforts of his party in opposing corruption both in the State and the country. He asked the youth to take part in these activities. He suggested to the government to launch entrepreneurship development programs for the youth.
Muvva Gopala Krishna, Venkatesh, Sivavardhan Reddy and others took part in the program. (NSS)
