Indian singer Sukhbir Singh flees airport to avoid arrest for possessing 27 K dollars

Karachi, Aug 10 : Indian singer Sukhbir somehow managed to dodge airport officials here to avoid arrest after 27,000 dollars was found in his luggage.

According to sources, Punjabi pop singer, who was set to board flight PK-203 to Dubai, was taken in for interrogation, but somehow managed to dodge the authorities and flee from the airport, leaving behind his luggage and the recovered currency, the Dawn has reported.

Sources said Sarwar Road Police have a launched a search and arrest alert for the run-away singer.

Immigration sources at the airport informed that Sukhbir had come to inquire about the maximum amount of money he could carry on the flight.

Realising that he was carrying the extra money, Sukhbir returned without taking the boarding card, the sources added.

Previously, Pakistani model Ayyan Ali was arrested from Islamabad airport on charges of money laundering while boarding a flight to Dubai. (ANI)
