New Delhi: Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and K. Srikanth are among the 11 Indian shuttlers who will be seen in action today in the opening round of the All England Open Badminton tournament in Birmingham.
Saina will take on Michelle Li of Canada while Sindhu will meet Thailand’s Porntip Buranaprasertsuk.
In the men’s section, K. Srikanth will clash with local boy Rajiv Ouseph, with Ajay Jayaram battling it out against Long Angus of Hong Kong.
Sai Praneeth, HS Prannoy and the pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa are also among the Indian shuttlers who will play their first round fixtures today. (ANI)
