(Siasat News) For rapid development, it is necessary for the Indian Muslims that they should stop complaining and grumbling against the Govt. or any other organization. Indian Muslims have many facilities in Indian democratic system which should be made use of. Dr. Syed Habeeb Ashraf who is residing in America for the past 40 years disclosed these ideas in a special interview with Siasat. Unfortunately the Muslims of India have a feeling of victimization which hampers their progress. Citing the examples of the blessings the Muslims Society has even today he said that the Muslims have a very well organized family network. This is a very good social system which the people in the western countries have forgotten. Every Muslim child in India knows his father whereas every fourth child wandering on the roads of London does not know to which race he belongs to.
Dr. Habeeb Ashraf told that if the Muslims of India work hard and plan their affairs, they can progress and develop the country also. He told that in making progress the youths have a major role to play. The Muslim youths of today should stop pointing fingers at others and abandon making complaints. They should plan their future. Pointing out at the Muslim leadership in India, he commented that due to lack of Muslim leadership in India, the Muslims of the country are suffering. It is the duty of the Muslims to pressurize the Govt. for the implementation of Sachar Committee and Ranganatha Mishra Commission reports. Prayer call (Azaan) was banned in Turkey in 1925. Albania banned naming Muslim names. America gave right to vote to women after 91 years of struggle. The Muslims of India have no such restrictions.
