Pune, February 14: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials tonight said the primary investigations into the high intensity bomb blast in German Bakery Restaurant here indicate that terrorist outfit Indian Muzahideen was allegedly involved in it.
They also said David Headley, who has been in US custody, was the mastermind behind the blast as he had visited the Osho Ashram some time last year and did the recce of potential targets frequented by foreigners in the city.
Headley allegedly wanted to launch another terror attack like the 26/11 involving the local IM faction, a source in the IB said here.
Some top brass of IB had arrived here and were probing all angles behind the bomb blast. They hope to nab the culprits sooner, the IB sources added.
