Department of Space by Government of India is inviting applications for admissions in under- graduate degree programmes of B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics, and in Dual- degree programmes in B.Techand M.S./M.Tech.in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology based at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria:
Good academic performers with 75% in class +2from science stream are eligible to apply for the scholarship. General category candidates must have73 marks in JEE Mains, 65 marks for OBC and non- creamy layer, 36 marks for SC/ST and PD candidates.To have continued privilege of the scholarship candidate must secure minimum prescribed Grade Point Average in the first semester.
• General and OBC: Candidate must secure 7.5/ 10GPA. In case the candidate fails to secure the same, he or she will have to remit the amount to the institute. Must not be more than 25 years of age.
• SC/ST and PD: Candidates must secure 6.5/ 10 GPA. In case the candidate secures less than 5.5 GPA, he or she will have to remit INR 28,400 and below 5.5 GPA holders will have to remit complete fund. Must not be more than 30 years of age.
Scholarship Reward:
The management will cover the tuition fee, amenity fee, hostel and dining charges, establishment charges and medical expenses for first semester, which values INR 48,400 in total.Book allowance of INR 3000 will be reimbursed on semester basis. To avail the privilege of the scholarship in the followingsemesters, the candidate has to score minimum prescribed GPA.
Also, the candidates will get an opportunity to do their internships or project work through exchange programmesin Universities Space Research Association and California Institute of Technology in USA. The topper will get to undergo intense 9- months M.S. program at California Institute of Technology.
