Kathmandu (Nepal) : India’s Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae has congratulated Sher Bahadur Deuba on his election to the post of Nepali Congress president.
In a 30-minute interaction with Deuba at his residence in Budhanilkantha on Wednesday, Ambassador Rae said that India wants to see peace, stability and prosperity in Nepal.
In response, Deuba said Nepal-India relations have been harmonious for centuries and expressed the confidence that it would further strengthen in the future. (ANI)
