Mumbai: Pakistani Singer and Actress accused an Indian Director of cheating and raping her.
According to the news published in Mid Day, a Bhojpuri Producer-director, Shyam Charan Yadav (35), was arrested on Thursday night after a Pakistani actress accused him of cheating and raping her. He was arrested from his residence in Jogeshwari. However, his two associates are absconding.
Yadav and Pakistani actress met at a film launch in 2012. According to her, they exchanged numbers and connected through Facebook and WhatsApp.
It is to be noted that both Yadav and actresses worked in a 2014 documentary on AIDS, titled ‘Road to Revenge’. Later, Yadav expressed desire to make a Hindi film along with her and asked for money. Actress in a complaint said that she gave him Rs. 35.8 lakh. However, when she realized that he had cheated her, she started demanding her money back. When she insisted, Yadav and his two associates, Tiger and Bablu Rai threaten to expose her videos of physically intimate with the filmmaker. Actress also alleged that Yadav raped her several times.
Police registered the case and arrested the director, while the other two accused are absconding.
