The Constitution of India (Bharat Ka Samvidhan), which influenced many countries to build their constitutional structure, now is in serious threat.
The Constitution declares India, a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring its citizens’ justice, liberty, equality and endeavours to promote fraternity.
It got many amendments from time to time, based on the Social-Economical status and needs of India. But the spirit of the original one cannot be changed.

Explaining his views he said: “There are many amendments we went through, some of them are required, some of them are accepted by everybody, some of them are controversial like CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) but I am sure, we, as a country, we will resolve all the controversies around CAA. I have confidence on the Hindus, the Muslims, the Christians, the Parsis, the Buddhist, everyone will get together, the BJP, the Congress and Communist Party, everyone will get together and once again we will resolve the differences and controversies surround this CAA bill.”
