Indian Army kills four militants in Kashmir

Baramulla: Indian Army on Saturday have killed four militants on the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir’s as the army foiled an infiltration bid, a defence source has said.

A group of militants was challenged by the alert troops on the Indian side of the LoC in Rampur sector. The sector is adjacent to the Uri sector where the Army on Friday obstructed an attack by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT) and killed two intruders.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, “the operation is ongoing in the area. The infiltration attempt has been foiled,” the source further added.
