Chicago: Members of Indian Americans Forum participated in a protest rally organized by the Indian American Muslim Council all across the USA . Members, Dr. Mohammed Jameel and Laman in Chicago, Narayanaswamy, Dr. Rehan in Washington DC, Iqbal Mohammed in Dallas and Ms. Nishrin Jaffry in Washington DC actively participated in the protest against #CAA #NRC.
Defend the constitution: Jameel
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Jameel in Chicago appeal to all secular Indians to defend the constitution which was enacted on this republic day and protect it. He lamented on BJP government policy of enacting discriminatory CAA which seems to be an attempt to marginalize, isolate and Rip the right to vote of minorities and weaker sections and make easy Hindutva party to get repeatedly elected and rule on democratic secular India.
The members from the Indian Americans group Narayanaswamy also participated in a rally in Washington DC .
Rehan condemns divisive policy of BJP
Dr. Rehan Prominent Member of Indian Americans forum and also represent international society of peace and justice spoke to a large crowd in Washington DC and condemn the BJP divisive policy of Modi led government and condemn the atrocities committed on Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia and JNU students and asked the BJP led government to see how secular Indians, Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and others are demanding the repeal of this discriminatory law.
Iqbal Mohiuddin organized a rally in Houston and urge upon all secular Indians and secular NRIs to join hands and appeal to BJP led government to repeal the discriminatory law.
