New Delhi, July 10: India has won 3 medals on the opening day of Junior Asian Competition organized at Manila, Philippines.
All three medals came in from wrestling arena where Suresh Yadav caught hold of Gold medal while Manoj and Rupendra were able to win a Bronze each.
According to sources, in the Greek-o-Roman style; 60kg category Suresh Yadav outclassed the rest with a gold win. Manoj and Rupendra slammed the Indian mark in the contest with bronze apiece in 55kg and 96kg category respectively.
Apart from these, two more wrestlers will fight for third position. Free style category and women sport is yet to begin.
