New Delhi: Advancing their strategic partnership, India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday exchanged four agreements across various sectors, including cyber security, infrastructure, renewable energy and currency swap arrangements.
The agreements were exchanged in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Hyderabad House here.
Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted, “Advancing the Strategic Partn’p w/ UAE. PM @narendramodi receives Crown Prince Mohamed Al Nahyan at Hyderabad House.
“The strength of a multifaceted relationship. The leaders witness the exchange of 4 Agreements across various sectors.
“The 4 agreements cover the fields of cyber security, infrastructure investment, renewable energy and currency swap arrangements.”
MEA, Secretary (East), Anil Wadhwa had on Wednesday told reporter here that a number of new memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements are proposed to be signed during the visit of the Crown Prince to expand the areas of cooperation; the list is still being updated. (ANI)
