India has secured the 48th position on a ranking list of the best places in the world to do business, a report said.
The list, which was prepared by The Economist Intelligence Unit ( EIU), named 82 countries based on the attractiveness of their business environments by evaluating criteria such as political climate, openness to foreign investment, taxes , the labour market and infrastructure, reported the BBC.
