India plans to wind up Afghan mission?

New Delhi, March 10: If sources are to be believed, India is likely to pull out from Afghanistan. Home Ministry sources said that government can issue advisory to Indians to return home.

After spat in terror attacks in recent months, the Indian government is now keen to wind up all missions in Afghanistan. The medical mission in Kabul has already been put on hold.

Earlier, the National Security Advisor (NSA) Shiv Shankar Menon paid a visit to Indian embassy in Kabul following attack on Indian officials on development mission in Afghanistan.

The speculations were high over pull out plan after Mennon’s visit.
