India, Norway sign green deal

New Delhi, October 22: India and Norway Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation to fight climate change. Specifically, the two countries will work to develop projects under the UN’s clean development mechanism.
Environment ministers of the two countries, Jairam Ramesh and Erik Solheim, signed the MoU here on the sidelines of the Delhi conference on development and transfer of green technologies.
