At present India has only 2 lakh Chartered Accountants whereas it needs 6 lakh. It is a profession which gives lot of income. This course is not difficult. One can become a CA thought continuous hard work and proper planning. These thoughts were expressed by Ms. Gulzar Karishma Malik while addressing a career guidance lecture organized at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall at Siasat Office complex. Mr. Shaik Jilani, Ms. Nida Zia, Ms. Amreen Midhani and Ms. Nazima Javeed (CA’s) were invited to deliver lectures based on their experiences as Chartered Accountants.
Ms. Gulzar Karishma Malik, Chartered Accountant told that CA examination consists of 3 stages. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is a national level institution established under an act of Parliament. Ms. Priya a resident of Malaad, a slum area of Mumbai is the daughter a poor Auto Driver. She hit the headlines of the national news papers when she topped the CA examination. This examination was taken by 35 thousand candidates but only 3.5 thousand students were successful. She persuaded many Muslim boys and girls to take C.A. examination. She informed that CA’s can get a salary package of Rs. 70-75 lakh per annum. The beginners start with a minimum salary package of 6 lakh. Mr. Shaik Jilani, CA explained the program of study following the Islamic principles and said that right from Salath-e-Fajar the student should start study for CA. Ms. Amreen Midhani secured 8th rank in CA examination. She told what to read and when to read for CA examination. Ms. Nazima Javeed , CO told that the girls can join this profession wearing hijab. Mr. M.A. Hameed, Career Counselor welcomed the gathering and the guest. Ms. Gulzar Karishma Malik thanked the audience.
