New Delhi: India Islamic Cultural Centre is a public entity and due to the charitable and dedicated services of some members of the community this has become an iconic Centre. Hence it should be kept away from politics. These views were expressed by the chief of International Sufi Mission Shah Ishtiyaq Ayyubi advocate.
Mr Ayyubi said we cannot ignore the services of former IAS Mohammed Naseem Khan, late Yousuf Zai, Anwar Ali Baig and others; especially the present president of India Islamic Centre Siraj Qureshi.
Mr Ishtiyaq Ayyubi appealed the intellectuals of the community to prevent the Centre from the domination of political elements.
