India fear PM Modi same as Terror Group Indian Mujahideen: Acharya Pramod Krishnam

New Delhi: Acharya Pramod Krishnam broke his silence on growing intolerance in India and said the country fears the Prime Minister in the same manner as it is frightened by the Indian Mujahideen, according to a report published in ABP news.

As the debate over ‘growing intolerance’ intensifies, Acharya Pramod Krishnam has stoked up a fresh controversy by attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and comparing him with terror group Indian Mujahideen (IM).

Not only PM Modi, but other fireband BJP leaders – Yogi Adityanath and Sakshi Maharaj – were also targeted by Acharya Krishnam.

While the Acharya accused Gorakhpur MP Adityanath of running mafia, he called Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj a rapist.

He also took potshots at the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam had unsuccessfully contested the 2014 General Elections from UP’s Sambhal constituency as a Congress candidate.

Several BJP leaders, including it Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath, were recently in news over making allegedly intemperate remarks. Adityanath had compared Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai carnage, over his “extreme intolerance” comment.

Before him, BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya had triggered a row with a series of tweets in which he called Shah Rukh an “anti-national” and said that the actor’s “soul” is in Pakistan though he lives in India. Under fire for the remark, he later withdrew the controversial tweets but asserted had there been intolerance in India, Shah Rukh would not have been the most popular actor after Amitabh Bachchan.
