Bengaluru, Oct. 5 : India on Monday stressed that it is looking forward to expand business ties with the Central European countries.
Interacting with the reporters here on Monday, Minister of State for External Affairs General V.K. Singh (retd) said, “We have very old relationship with a large number of countries in the Central Europe, and with our strong economy we are looking at how more opportunities can be made, where there can be more joint ventures and more investments in both Central Europe and India.”
“India is looking towards the Central European countries for setting up smart cities, green energy and manufacturing sector,” he said.
When asked about India’s strategic relationship with Poland, the minister said, “Poland has been a friend for over 60 years, and there is a great amount that can be done.” (ANI)
