The name of Winsome Group promoter Jatin Mehta has been recently raised by the Congress party, connecting it with a scam of more than ₹6500 crores. Mehta, a Gujarat-based diamond merchant and owner of Winsome Diamonds, is also an alleged defaulter to a consortium of banks.
