Hyderabad: Addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad to mark 23rd anniversary of Babri Masjid’s demolition, Asaduddin Owaisi, President of MIM said that India belongs to all and will never be a country for one particular religion.
He claimed that Sangh Parivar are making an attempts to turn India into a “Hindu Rashtra”. He said that India is a plural country and belongs to all the citizen of the country of every religion.
He also claimed that Sangh Parivar are spreading hatred against Muslims by claiming that the population of Muslims are increasing and if this continues, India will become a Muslim country soon. Rejecting this claim, he said that as per 2011 Census, the growth of Muslim population decreased by 6%.
Referring to statements after Dadri lynching incident and the statement of Tripura Governor, he said that there is a need to remove hatred from the people’s minds.
Talking about the defeat in Bihar election, he said that victory and defeat are decided by Allah (SWT) but MIM will penetrate into every nook and corner of the country.
