India beat Sri Lanka by 141 runs in 2nd ODI

Mohali: Skipper Rohit Sharma‘s double century guided India to a 141-run win in their second one-day international against Sri Lanka on Wednesday, levelling the series 1-1 in Mohali.

The visitors were restricted to 251-8 in pursuit of their 393-run target. Angelo Mathews top-scored with an unbeaten 111 while Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets.

But it was Sharma’s unbeaten 208 off 153 balls that stood out with the opener becoming the only ODI batsman in history to score three double tons.
