India and Indonesia has age-old relations: Indonesian ambassador M Ghalib

India and Indonesia have age-old relations and Indonesia besides being Muslim predominant country is now emerging as a powerful economy. These views were expressed by Lt. General (R) Andhi M.Ghalib, Indonesian Ambassador to India here at Hyderabad in a special meting. He further said bilateral trade between India and Indonesia is expected to reach $40 billion by 2015.

Indonesian Ambassador to India said that he has been in India for the past 4 years and presently he is on his tour to Hyderabad. He called on chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and governor Narsimhan.

He also met Vice Chancellors of Osmania University (OU) and English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) and called for collaboration of two countries in educational sector.
