Visakhapatnam : After a series-levelling win against Sri Lanka in Ranchi, the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side will aim to maintain their momentum in order to claim a 2-1 series win in the third and the series decider T20 here on Sunday.
Team India, which entered the series with the top spot, will aim to maintain their ranking. In contrast, if the visitors clinch the series then they will leapfrog India and West Indies to reach the top spot.
As far as Playing XI is concerned, India will be tempted to keep the same squad.
For the visitors, Niroshan Dickwella might be given a chance at the top of the order, while Jeffrey Vandersay could also be brought in the squad at the expense of Seekkuge Prasanna.
Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh, who began the series needing 17 runs to reach the milestone of 1000 in his T20 international career, still requires seven more runs to reach the mark.
He would try to achieve these runs in the final T20 to become the fourth batsman to reach the milestone.
Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan smashed his maiden T20 international fifty as India claimed a 69-run win over Sri Lanka in the second game to level the three-match series. Sri Lanka won the opening match by five wickets. (ANI)
