Ind vs Aus 3rd ODI: Rain delays start

Margao, October 24: India vs Australia 3rd ODI, groundstaff are busy in soaking wet outfield at Margao in Goa

Overnight rain and poor weather at Margao’s Nehru Stadium in Goa delayed the start of play in the 3rd ODI between India vs Australia on Sunday.

However, the sky is clear in Goa on Sunday morning and groundstaff are busy in preparing the outfield for play.

According to the latest news from Margaon in Goa, the umpires and match referee will inspect the ground around at 11.00 am to take a final decision.

The three-match ODI series has been marred by rains. The first ODI at Kochi in Visakhapatnam was also called off due to persistent rain.

In case of no play, India will clinch the series 1-0 and it will be the first time when Australia will face clean sweep in both Test and ODI series.

On the other hand, spectators are praying to rain God to keep away for at least six hour so that match can be resumed.
