Dilsukhnagar blast victims were discharged by the corporate hospitals without complete treatment. Protesting against this TDP corporators staged a dharna near assembly but were soon arrested by the police. TDP corporators led by GHMC floor leader Mr. S Srinivas Reddy were heading towards assembly from Fateh Maidan Club to stage dharna but police stopped them on the way and took them under custody.
TDP corporators were holding placards demanding better treatment of bomb blast victims. Abids police shifted the agitators and their supporter to Abids police station from where they were released on bail. It must be recalled that 105 people injured in the twin blast occurred near Venkatadri and Konark theatre on February 21 who were admitted to corporate hospitals for treatment. However they were suddenly discharged without complete treatment which worried their relatives. Some injured who are operated upon are being sent to home instead of keeping them in post operative ward.
